Rachel McGinnis Meissner is proud to be an EC-12 Texas Art Educator with 17 years of experience as a professional graphic designer, product developer, and theatre production designer in addition to having served as an academic support educator of at-risk students and writing instructor at St. Edward's University for 10 years. She has taught integrated arts (visual arts, theatre, and writing) in after school programs, workshops, and summer camps since obtaining her master's in Art Education in 2001. She is currently serving as the Fine Arts Department Chair at AESA Prep Academy where she teaches all levels of K-12 art including Photography, Video Game Design, Middle and High School Visual Arts, Advanced Studio Art, and Elementary Art. Ms. Meissner is a member of the National Art Education Association and Texas Art Education Association and enjoys learning from and collaborating with fellow art educators.
